No other country has so many diverse landscapes to enthrall the ever excited Indian traveller. These are some of the most beautiful Indian rail journeys that you need to take this January:

  • Mumbai – Goa: The Mandovi Express which travels between the beautiful gorges of Sahyadari and fringes of Arabian Sea is one of the most enthralling train rides in India. The route is full of scenic landscapes, waterfalls, small rivers and stunning meadows. So much so, that you will not even feel like sleeping on this train journey, just to gaze at the landscapes! Make sure to capture these stunning sights on your camera. This train ride requires a full day of travel though.

  • Hubli – Madgaon: This has to be one of the prettiest routes in India that you must see. Often called the Vasco Da Gama route, this route has the most enchanting views of the magnificent Dudhsagar falls. Known to be one of the most gigantic and 300 metre water fall. Once the train reaches the waterfall, you will be amazed at the stunning force and magnificent view of this fall. The entire train journey will be worth this view!
