10 Reasons you should visit Goa with your family this winter

Goa Family Trip

Yes, Goa means clubbing and partying with your friends till you drop; but Goa isn’t only that. It is about rich heritage and elegant Portuguese architecture. It is about the bountiful wildlife and the lip-smacking cuisine. Yes, we might have deduced Goa to a party place lately, but, it is so much more that that!

So, take a break from Tito’s and LPK this time and take your family to an amazing Goa trip! Let’s break some travel stereotypes.

A trip to the Basilica of Bom Jesus

Basilica of Bom Jesus is a UNESCO certified world heritage site that preserves the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier.

Go for the architecture, go for the history!

Wild Life Sanctuaries

Goa has an array of wild life sanctuaries offering a view and experience of some of the most exotic fauna of the region. Reserve a day or two just for these. Bondla, Bhagwan Mahavir, and Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary are a few of the best ones.

Fort Tiracol

Dil Chahta Hai must have made Fort Aguada mainstream leading to overcrowding; but Goa has a lot of hidden treasures that you can’t miss.

The secluded Tiracol or Terekhol is on the northern tip of Goa, totally worth the drive.

#littlehistory #maharashtra #fort #view #bamballeilo #tirakolfort
